Another mind blowing ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) in the books! Possibly the biggest, best and busiest yet.

As AV technology integrators, ISE provides the perfect opportunity for us to see what products are new to market, meet with suppliers, discuss project requirements, make new contacts and get to grips with industry trends.

Talking of trends, the biggest at this years show: LED’s and Soundbars – and plenty of them! Not forgetting the enhanced collaboration technology for huddle and conference rooms. However we found a few hidden gems in and among the bigger boys, boasting huge growth and innovation.

Polycom – new video conferencing unit, designed for huddle spaces and small meeting rooms, similar to the Cisco spark room solutions the sound bar houses a wide angle camera and internal microphones, for an all in one solution.

Elo Touch – impressive new range of touch screens, running left to right, from 10″ through to 70″.

Lindy – new ultra slim HDbaseT extenders, ideal for discreet deployments, minimising rack space or hiding inside cabinets and credenzas.

MulitiTaction – IVC’s most recent technology partner, showing off their impressive UC software running on one of their 5×1 interactive LCD video walls.

Sennheiser – new voice lifting microphones designed to integrate seamlessly with existing ceiling grids.

DynaScan – new dual sided display.

Crestron – new sound bar. With or without integrated camera, and speaker range.

ISE has exploded over the years. It’s crazy to think the show began in 2004, and at the time – held in Geneva, Switzerland – hosted only 120 exhibitors and 3,500 visitors.

Fast forward 15 years, and here we are! This years show saw more than 1,300 exhibitors and over 81,000 visitors. Next years show is the final edition being held in Amsterdam, before it moves to its new location. All we can say is we are looking forward to experiencing what is set to be the biggest show in its history next February, especially after this years performance.
